Learning Support ServicesCDR Home

The Center for Disability Resources (CDR) offers a variety of learning support services that facilitate the development of compensatory strategies and academic skills for students with disabilities. These services are offered individually and in small groups.

Individual consultation sessions allow students to meet with a learning specialist on a wide array of topics. When meeting with individual students, the learning specialist is able to discuss targeted compensatory strategies to meet the individualized needs of each student. Students work with the learning specialist to establish priorities and determine a personalized agenda for their time together.

Throughout the semester, the CDR provides several workshops in the area of study skills, note-taking, and time management for students with disabilities. These workshops are interactive and allow students to participate in actively furthering their own understanding of the learning process.

Students may work with the learning specialist as needed or on a regular basis for several weeks at a time. If you are currently registered with the CDR and are interested in speaking with our learning specialist, please contact us to schedule an appointment for a consultation.
