  1. GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM - Please consult the General Education section of the current IIT Bulletin for complete requirements.

    1. Basic Writing Proficiency - Students must show basic writing proficiency by receiving a satisfactory score on the Writing Proficiency Examination or by passing an English Composition course.

    2. Humanities - Choose one course from the following: ENG 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 208, 209, 220, 250, 260, 270; HIST 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 200, 201, 250; or PHIL 101, 102, 103.

    3. Social Sciences - Choose one course from the following: ANTH 101, 275; GEOG 102, 104, 106; PSCI 101, 102, 103; PSYC 101, 102, 205, 206, 207, 208, 210, 215, 250, 273; or SOC 101, 220, 240, 270, 280, 290, 293, 295.

    4. Choose one course from section B or section C or from the following: ART 115, 116, 117, 118; ENG 109, 190; HIST 210, 220, 230, 240, 260, 290, 293; MUS 101, 102, 103, 107, 201, 202; or THEA 101.

    5. Science Electives for Business Administration majors - A minimum of thirteen (13) credit hours is required to fulfill this requirement. Choose from the following to total 13 credit hours: BIO 104, 105, 107, 125, 144, 146, 147, 151, 152, 160, 210, 220; CHEM 100, 101, 102, 108; or PHYS 101, 102.

  2. EQUIVALENCIES - Following is a list of courses that will transfer into the Business Administration or Business Administration and Applied Science programs at IIT and their direct equivalents at Joliet Junior College:
