for Me
Play this game often. Provide assistance with counting when your child needs it. Try reversing the game so that your are doing the counting. This provides a model for your child to follow. Make intentional mistakes while you are counting---it's fun for your child to catch your mistakes.

Retelling
1. Read a story to your child or listen to them read a favorite book to you. Old favorites like Goldilocks and the Three Bears are great for this activity.
2. After reading the story, have your child retell what happened in the story in their own words.
3.
Have your child write their retelling and illustrate pictures to go along
with their story retelling.
