IntroARCH: Graduate Preparatory Course
July 29 - August 12, 2013This course is designed to prepare students for the graduate architectural studio sequence at IIT. It is highly recommended for students embarking on the 3-year professional Master of Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture degrees (those without prior architectural studio experience) and is recommended for students embarking on the 2-year M.Arch with Advanced Standing (especially those who have not recently completed their undergraduate studies). The course is also open to those who are not currently seeking a degree but are interested in pursuing architectural graduate studies in the future.

The course is comparable to a design studio in sequence and rigor. It will give inexperienced students a working familiarity with the strategies, concepts, and techniques that form the backbone of architectural design studio work, and refresh the skills of the experienced. Individual instruction will accommodate each student’s level of expertise.

Schedule: July 29 - August 12, 2013
