COA Faculty are Finalists in Navy Pier Redevelopment

IIT College of Architecture faculty are among the five team finalists for Chicago's Navy Pier redevelopment. As its 100th anniversary approaches in 2016, Pier officials seek to redevelop the public space to reinvigorate tourism. Assistant Professor Marshall Brown, Studio Associate Professor Martin Felsen, and Adjunct Professor Terry Guen are each participating in different design teams. The five finalists were chosen for the third phase of redevelopment design, and the winning design team will be chosen in February.
