Ted Wolff Gallery of Work
Ted Wolff, RLA is a professor of landscape architecture. His firm, Wolff Landscape Architecture, developed the site and landscape design for the new Business Instructional Facility at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. The project received LEED Platinum certification, with landscape contributing to a number of credits through the use of native plants, on-site stormwater retention, green roofs, and no potable water use. 1 of 4

Ted Wolff. The project uses no potable water for landscape irrigation, achieved in part by using native plants adapted to the climate of central Illinois. The native grasses and forbs between the sidewalk and building are a profound departure from UIUC's template of bluegrass lawns and shade trees with clipped yew hedge foundation planting. 4 of 4
