Associate Professor Frank Flury and students in his spring 2009 Design/Build studio received a 2010 AIA Chicago Distinguished Building Honor Award for their field chapel project in Boedigheim, Germany. Associate Professor John Ronan was awarded a 2010 AIA Chicago Design Excellence Award. John Ronan Architects received an Interior Architecture Honor Award for the Chapel of St. Ignatius of Loyola at Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School in Chicago.

Associate Professor John Ronan was awarded the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Award for Architectural Excellence in Community Design for Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School. Christ the King is the first Catholic school to open on Chicago's West Side in 80 years.
