art@iit
Art@IIT is the product of an Entrepreneurial Project begun in 2004, EnPRO 359 – A Gallery for Exhibiting the Art of Technology.
The primary goal for the students in this interdisciplinary course was to establish on IIT’s main campus a gallery that would celebrate the art of technology and thereby connect the world of art to the spectrum of technological disciplines taught at the university.
With the collaboration of students, faculty, administration and staff, the art@IIT Kemper Gallery, located in the Paul V. Galvin Library, has welcomed the works of contemporary artists as well as technology pioneers and provided a unique learning experience for the community.
