Health Insurance
Health Insurance is mandatory for all IIT students under the following conditions:
• Domestic students – Health insurance is assessed to all domestic students that are registered full time or have not provided adequate waiver and proof of insurance information to Student Health Services by the deadline. The deadline to waive health insurance is available on the Student Health Services website. Part time students have the option of purchasing health insurance at any time and should consult Student Health Services if they wish to utilize this benefit.
• International students on F1/J1 visa - Health insurance is mandatory for all part time and full time international students on an F1 or J1 visa for every term that the student is enrolled.
