Customization Options
The Center 360 allows you to create a custom tool to meet your unique needs. The following features can be considered:
- Survey items and competencies – Going beyond the Center’s standard 360 models for executives/managers and supervisors, we can create custom 360 surveys to include competencies and items based on the client's needs.
- Scale Anchors – Anchors describe the rating scale for the survey items. Our core surveys use a 10-point scale with anchors ranging from "Not Effective" to "Extremely Effective." Five and seven point scales are also available. Some clients use frequency scales whereas others use effectiveness ratings.
- Email reminders – System-generated email reminders are sent to participants after specified periods of non-response when a response is expected. We can (a) enable or disable this feature, (b) alter the time periods before reminders are sent, and (c) customize the text of the email messages.
- Coaches – Coaches can be loaded into the system. Coaches (internal or external) can access selected administrative components of the system (e.g., view response rates, order reports). Alternatively, this feature can be disabled if desired.
- Usage reports – Clients can receive additional information beyond response rates if desired (e.g., demographic information about participants).
- Company name/logo – The survey can be branded for the client so the company name, logo, and brand name is included on web pages and feedback reports.
- Importance ratings – Respondents can rate the degree of importance of competencies, which helps leaders prioritize their development action items. This feature can be disabled.
- Respondent groups – Raters will be identified with different roles in relation to participants. For example, clients often use rater labels such as Direct Manager, Indirect Manager, Direct Reports, Peer, Customer, etc. The number and label for these rater groups can be customized to support client requirements.
- Minimum # of respondents needed to report averages – To maintain anonymity, we do not report data for most rater groups with less than 3 respondents. This minimum number may change depending on client requirements.
- Online feedback reports – We can enable or disable the availability of online feedback reports. If online feedback reports are enabled, only individuals with appropriate security clearance will have access to feedback reports, and then only to reports for specific people.
- Developmental content – The Center has a resource guide with developmental recommendations that are linked to competencies included in our core 360 survey.
