Employee Engagement
The Center merges the science of measuring employee engagement with practical approaches for enhancing engagement, increasing retention, improving productivity, and improving customer service. We work with you to determine your survey objectives, plan the survey process, and customize your survey to measure the factors that are important to your organization. Our core engagement survey assesses the key drivers of engagement while also allowing you to benchmark against norms based on preferred employers.
Our engagement measure reflects employees' intellectual and emotional attachment to the organization. In turn, engagement is defined by behavior in terms of:
- Intent to Stay
- Willingness to Say
- Desire to Serve
Employee Engagement is not employee opinion, attitude or satisfaction.
- Employee satisfaction and opinion surveys measure how people feel or think about an issue - not how they are likely to behave
- Employee satisfaction and opinion surveys generally focus on areas in which employees are least positive
- Employee satisfaction and opinion surveys generally provide results based only on the percentage of employees who agree or disagree with particular items
- Employee satisfaction and opinion surveys may not drive key business results
Instead, employee engagement measures the likelihood that employees will display behaviors that will positively impact the organization. Our engagement driver analysis demonstrates which factors in your organization exert the most significant influence on your employees' engagement levels.
