    Center for Innovation Science and Applications

    The Center for Innovation Science and Applications (CISA) has been established at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) as collaboration between industry and academia to further develop the science of innovation with global participation.

    Innovation has become a mandatory competency to excel in the knowledge economy. Similar to the industrial revolution in the 20th century, innovation revolution has begun with the 21st century. To maximize utilization of human potential for developing innovative solutions on demand in a predictable, pervasive and profitable manner, science of innovation must be understood and advanced.

    Mission

    The mission of the Center for Innovation Science and Applications is to be a globally recognized center for innovation research and expertise—advancing the field of innovation and human intellectual potential. CISA activities support research and publication, the global exchange of ideas, educational degree programs, training and certification programs, corporate support and technology transfer.
