About
Industrial Technology and Management Programs (INTM) at Illinois Institute of Technology offer "hybrid" degrees that combine coverage of state-of the-art technologies with world-class management approaches. Both the Bachelor of Industrial Technology and Management (BINTM) and the Master of Industrial Technology and Operations (MITO) are intended to prepare students for management and staff careers in industry.Success in industry requires a broad knowledge base that is flexible and can be applied to provide practical solutions to complex situations. INTM's faculty members have an average of 10 years of teaching experience along with an average of 30 years of industrial experience, and thereby bring first-person perspectives to the classroom. Students are encouraged to pursue courses that best satisfy their career interests and objectives. INTM offers specializations in Industrial Facilities, Industrial Logistics and Manufacturing Technology, and a range of technical electives that include entrepreneurship and energy topics.
INTM courses generally meet one night a week to suit the schedules of working adults. Classes meet at IIT's Main Campus in Chicago, the Rice Campus in Wheaton, and via the Internet for students located elsewhere in the world.
