APICS Student Chapter established at IIT

An initiative is underway to establish a Student Chapter of APICS, The Association of Operations Management, at IIT.  A group of INTM students who joined APICS in spring have spearheaded the initiative and generated the student interest required to establish a new student organization.

To encourage student involvement, APICS-Chicago Chapter agreed to cover the $25 student membership fee for the first 15 students to apply for membership.  Currently a provisory board of officers are working to organize and expedite necessary paperwork as well as plan meetings for the 2009-10 academic year.  More news to come!
