The INTM office does not align student with employers; our goal is simply to share this information with our students. IIT Student Chapter for the National Electrical Contractors' Association (NECA)
The Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) is a construction trade organization that provides business and labor relations services to over 1000 electrical contractors in Chicago and Cook County. The IIT Student Chapter of NECA was established to provide a direct link for interactions and opportunities between ECA and students majoring in fields related to the electrical construction industry - architectural engineering, civil engineering, construction management, electrical engineering, industrial technology and management - as well as any others interested in knowing more about ECA. Ultimately, the chapter aims to help students acquire a good understanding of how ECA and its affiliates operate in Chicago, provide networking opportunities, and inform students about ECA scholarships, internships and national competitions.

The Association for Operations Management (APICS) Student Membership
APICS focuses on operations management (including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing and logistics) and is known for its training and certification programs for supply chain professionals. Student membership is $25 per year and includes subscription to APICS Magazine, bookstore discounts, and discounted attendance at the International Conference and Expo. Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Student Membership
Student membership in CSCMP costs only $35 a year.
