Applied Math BBQ Spring 2008
The SIAM Chapter and Math Club held a barbecue on Thursday, May 8, 2008, in the early afternoon. Many faculty and students enjoyed the event, and prizes were given out for math contest winners at IIT. The weekly problem-solving winners are Kevin Ventullo ($45), Anil Krishna Vasireddi ($30), Chris Mitillos ($30), and YoungJu Jo ($15). The IIT SIAM Mathematics Contest for Undergraduate Student was held the previous day, May 7, 2008, and the top winners are (1st place) Kevin Ventullo, (2nd place) Keith Campbell, (3rd place) Daniel Kipp.
