Computer Science Department Awards for 2008-2009
After discussions among the members of the Award Committee, the Computer Science Department would like to announce the following awards for 2008-2009 academic year: Best Teacher: Prof. Wai Gen Yee; Best TA: Saket Mangla; Best Student paper: Saket Mangla and XuFei Mao.
The members of the Award Committee, which included Profs. Reingold, Kapoor, Hood, and Li, report that a number of awards had several strong candidates, which made their choices difficult. They give their appreciation to all faculty and students who nominated award candidates and provided support documents for them.
