Yee Receives Outstanding Faculty Award at Spring 2009 IPRO

Prof. Wai Gen Yee was named the winner of the Spring 2009 IPRO Outstanding Faculty Award for his guidance of IPRO 327.  IPRO 327's project, entitled, "A Semantic News Search Engine," was to design and build a search engine that aggregated articles from news Web sites, analyze their "meaning," and to allow users to search for them based on meaning.
