Assistant Professor Raicu Co-Chairs MTAGS10 Workshop at IEEE/ACM Supercomputing 2010
Assistant Professor Ioan Raicu was co-chair of the 3rd IEEE Workshop on Many-Task Computing on Grids and Supercomputers (MTAGS) 2010. The workshop was part of the prestigious IEEE/ACM Supercomputing 2010 conference and took place on November 15 in New Orleans. The workshop program attracted over 80 attendees and consisted of a keynote talk by Dr. Roger Barga from Microsoft Research and 11 excellent research papers selected from 32 submissions. Main workshop sponsors were the IIT College of Science and Letters and IIT Graduate College, as well as the Computational Institute at University of Chicago.
