Part-Time Instructor Position Available

Applications are invited for a part-time instructor of computer science starting in the fall 2011 semester. Highly qualified candidates from all areas of computer science will be considered. Commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. Applicants must have an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in computer science. Five or more years of software development experience in the IT industry is desirable. The ability and willingness to develop and offer courses in cutting-edge areas of computer science is a plus.
The department offers B.S., M.S., Professional Master's, and Ph.D. degrees and has over 600 students. The department offers courses at Main campus, which is located within 10 minutes of downtown Chicago, and also at Rice campus, which is located in Wheaton.
