New Professional Master's Specializations
The CS department has introduced seven new specializations for the professional master's degree, the Master of Computer Science (MCS). The new specializations provide professional master's students a variety of new ways in which to augment their general knowledge of computer science with study in specific technical or application areas.
The two new application area specializations are in Education and Finance. The five new technical area specializations are in Computational Intelligence; Cyber-Physical Systems; Data Analytics; Distributed and Cloud Computing; and Information Security and Assurance.
The seven new specializations join the four existing specializations in Business; Computer Networking and Telecommunications; Information Systems; and Software Engineering.
