Baxter Science@Work Education Initiative
Baxter International Inc. supports the Illinois Institute of Technology's program to enrich teacher professional development and provide broader student access to science and biotechnology. The Science@Work Initiative ensures that teachers and students incorporate biotechnology into the classroom. The program strives to inspire a new generation of teachers and students to take an interest in biotechnology through critical teacher training and real-world experiences. IIT offers ten academic year workshops for middle and high school teachers in biotechnology. Workshops are offered after school, 4:30pm - 7:30pm.
