    Baxter Science@Work Education Initiative
    Baxter International supports the Illinois Institute of Technology's program to enrich teacher professional development and provide broader student access to science and biotechnology. The Science@Work Initiative ensures that teachers and students incorporate biotechnology into the classroom. The program strives to inspire a new generation of teachers and students to take an interest in biotechnology through critical teacher training and real-world experiences. IIT offers summer and academic year workshops for middle and high school teachers in biotechnology. Workshops will be offered August 15-18, 2011 and after school in December 2011.     Glencoe McGraw-Hill Science Professional Development

    MSED partners with Glencoe McGraw-Hill Publishers to provide professional development to Chicago Public School science teachers in the areas of biology, earth science and chemistry.


    American Geological Institute/MSED On-Line Courses

    MSED and the American Geological Institute provide a series of earth science on-line courses to K-12 teachers nationally. Contact IIT Math and Science Education Department for information and applications.
