Computer Science's Yee Wins Best Paper Award at INFOSCALE
Wai Gen Yee, assistant professor of computer science, and his collaborators won the "Best Paper Award" at the ACM/ICST Third International Conference on Scalable Information Systems (INFOSCALE). ACM/ICST INFOSCALE is a selective (24 percent acceptance rate) conference focusing on algorithms and applications for and the design of scalable information systems. It was held June 4-6 in Seiano di Vico Equense, Italy. Professor Yee's paper was entitled "Efficient Query Routing by Improved Peer Description in P2P Networks."
ICST is the Institute for Computer Sciences, Social-Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering. It is a worldwide society headquartered in Brussels supporting research, innovation and technology transfer in information technologies, their management and their applications in the service of Institute members and society at large.
