Computer Science Alumnus Chih-Wei Yi named Outstanding Young Engineer by the Chinese Institute of Engineers
Chih-Wei Yi (Ph.D., CS, 2005) was named an Outstanding Young Engineer by the Chinese Institute of Engineers. Yi was a doctoral student of Professor Peng-Jun Wan and is an assistant professor of computer science, National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. Candidates under 40 years old are selected for the award from every engineering field, and about 10 are chosen each year for the award. Yi was the only academic and only computer scientist to be selected this year.
