Dual Acceptance Program: Illinois Institute of Technology & Midwestern University - Chicago College of Pharmacy
Program Eligibility
- Students must rank in the top 25% of their graduating class.
- Students must score in the top 25% on a college entrance examination (ACT 24 or SAT 1175)
- Students must apply to both the Illlinois Institute of Technology and the Dual Acceptance Program and must submit all applicable application and deposit fees.
Students accepted for admission to IIT but not accepted into the Dual Acceptance Program will retain their acceptance to IIT.
Program Requirements
To be ensured a seat at the Chicago College of Pharmacy, students accepted into the Dual Acceptance Program must:
- complete the following courses at IIT before enrolling at the Chicago College of Pharmacy

| * Placement exams may be required for Math and Chemistry. Therefore, students may be required to take additional hours if they are placced in a lower level course. | ||
- maintain a cumulative 3.20 GPA at the end of the first year of pre-pharmacy studies
- maintain a cumulative 3.20 GPA at the end of completion of their two-year IIT pre-pharmacy studies
- earn a grade of C or higher in all required coursework
- courses may not be repeated for a higher grade
Students who do not successfully complete the Dual Acceptance Program may apply to the Chicago College of Pharmacy through the traditional application process.
