Physics at IIT: Where Can It Take You?
IIT offers the best features of a small college (e.g., small class sizes, accessible faculty, numerous scholarships) combined with those of a larger university, including opportunities to do cutting-edge research. A number of physics majors have taken advantage of summer research scholarships available through IIT College of Science and Letters, while others have been accepted at summer Research Experience for Undergraduate programs at other universities. Undergraduates also may do research at the two nearby federal laboratories, Argonne and Fermilab, with IIT faculty.
