Physics students at IIT are prepared for immediate entry into positions in industrial and government research laboratories. The programs are designed to allow students to develop exceptional problem solving ability, gain experience with instrumentation and measurement processes, develop mathematics and computational skills, and gain a wide knowledge of physics as it applies both to the everyday world and to understanding nature's secrets.
