Hosman Receives College of Science and Letters Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching
Laura Hosman, assistant professor of political science, received the 2011 CSL Dean’s Award for Teaching. She was recognized for her outstanding teaching in the classroom and innovative efforts through the IPRO program in order to bring direct current solar power and related educational support to schools in Haiti. This multi-semester project is designed to facilitate schoolchildren’s use of computers from the One Laptop Per Child program.
