Assistant Professor Shapiro Receives Social Network Initiative Funding
Matthew Shapiro, assistant professor of political science, has been awarded seed funding from IIT's Social Network Initiative. Shapiro will be collaborating with Libby Hemphill and Jahna Otterbacher, both assistant professors of technical communication, in order to examine how national-level politicians communicate and network via social media.
