Visiting Prof. David Schalliol Returns ... Again
David Schalliol has been reappointed Visiting Instructor of Sociology in the Department of Social Sciences for the 2010-11 AY. Besides teaching at IIT and finishing up his dissertation at our neighboring institution to the south, the University of Chicago, he works as a freelance photographer and graphic designer.
Schalliol is also managing editor at GapersBlock.com. Here at SOCS, Schalliol offers courses on social and political thought, social inequality, and public policy, in addition to the departmental Introduction to the Profession (PS 100).
