Christena Nippert-Eng gives Keynote Address at Nordic Design Research Conference in Stockholm
Christena Nippert-Eng, associate professor of sociology, gave the keynote address "The Question of 'How,' Sociology, Ethnography, and Design" at the Nordic Design Research conference in Stockholm in May 2007. Her paper "Privacy in the United States: Some Implications for Design" was published in the International Journal of Design in August. She presented the paper "The Work of Secrets" for the session on "Microsociologies" at the American Sociological Society's annual meetings in August in New York. In November, invited talks included "The Work of Secrets" at Loyola University.
