Research & Major Accomplishments
O’Connor’s main research interest is in the cultural construction of identity through food choices and impression management.
O’Connor has previously taught classes in social problems, self and society, urban sociology, and the sociology of food and politics. He is currently teaching "Introduction to the Social Sciences for Honors" at NEIU and also holds an assistantship position at Loyola University Chicago with Information Technology Services as a statistical adviser for undergraduates.
