myIIT Portal
In 2006, Marketing and Communications Web team--working with a team
from Office of Technology Services (OTS)--built the myIIT portal
for launch in January 2007. myIIT was created to house content
channels for email, Banner, Time Reporting and other administrative
functions, along with internal-only links to specific resources,
and portal-only Web pages.
The Web team works with IIT professional department staffs to
create, modify and maintain portal content through the university's
Luminis Content Management System (LCMS). The team continues to
work closely with OTS Portal Services staff on channel and layout
enhancements, server and systems troubleshooting, and other support.
Office of Communications Web team also administrates the Group
Studio collaboration feature of myIIT. It manages new group approvals,
group leadership changes, the annual groups renewal process and
training.
How to request myIIT Portal Services
• New/existing nontechnical content channels or portal Web
pages

Enter an OTS Support Tickets by clicking OTS Support icon at the
top of any myIIT page, or email supportdesk@iit.edu. Functional
system channels are managed by Office of Technology Services' Portal
Services team.
