The university shall use appropriate print and electronic
vehicles to communicate news and information that may be relevant
to faculty, staff and students. In order to assure the appropriateness
of such communication, publications and broadcast voice
and e-mail communications must be reviewed and approved through
the Office of Communications & Marketing or its designee.
Generally speaking, broadcast messages
should be reserved for communication that by its timeliness
or significance cannot be disseminated through other routine
communication channels.
