MissionTo strengthen IIT's effectiveness in its surrounding neighborhoods and to leverage the university’s student, faculty, staff, facility and other resources to help achieve community development goals in partnership with community organizations, institutions, business and government.
To create, connect, collaborate and share with all communities and respond with relevant, accurate, and timely information.
Vision
The IIT Digital Media Center will empower IIT students to positively affect the environment, in Bronzeville and surrounding communities by leveraging their various technological and media-related expertise in support of digital inclusion activities and programs. The DMC is the outreach arm in media for the Office of Community Affairs.
