CAEE Graduate Programs
M.S. in Civil Engineering
The M.S. in Civil Engineering degree program represents a research and thesis-based curriculum, and offers the student the opportunity to specialize in five techical areas (construction, architectural, geoenvironmental, geotechnical, and structural and transporation engineering).
During the first registration/counseling period, the department assigns a faculty adviser in a specific field for every full-time graduate student. All part-time or special students who have not been assigned an adviser and who intend to pursue a program toward a degree should contact the department for advising before registering for courses. Departmental seminars and colloquia are conducted on a regular basis each semester. All full-time graduate students are expected to register for CAE 593 each semester and attend these seminar meetings regularly.
