    Department of Biomedical Engineering
    As a leader in biomedical engineering research and education, IIT prepares students for leadership positions in some of today's most promising and challenging careers in industry, medicine and research. IIT offers a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering. Both programs enable students to select an area of specialization.

    The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE) at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1901, stems from one of the nation's oldest chemical engineering departments. The ChBE Department offers leading edge research and education programs that prepare engineers for the technological challenges of the 21st century.
    Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering
    The Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering offers a number of undergraduate and graduate programs across these engineering disciplines.  Programs are designed to prepare students to begin the practice of the profession and for challenges facing civil, architectural and environmental engineers in the 21st century with competitive programs and facilities, such as modern laboratories, state-of-the-art instructional aids and computer equipment.

    The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering accounts for the largest number of students in IIT's Armour College of Engineering and offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
    Department of Mechanical, Materials & Aeorspace Engineering
    The Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering Department at IIT offers a number of undergraduate and graduate programs in all three areas of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering. The departmemtn continually updates and improves the curriculum to provide an even better education for engineering students.
