    Research

    Dr. Zysk's research interests are both experimental and theoretical in nature.  They include electromagnetic tissue properties, image formation techniques, and statistical field properties.  His research background includes optical biomedical imaging, wave physics, computational imaging techniques, and cancer diagnostic applications. 

    Dr. Zysk has been studying X-ray phase-contrast imaging methods at the Medical Imaging Research Center since joining the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2007.

    Dr. Zysk has received numerous research and presentation awards.  He is a member of IEEE, OSA, and SPIE.  He is a reviewer for 6 journals.
