    MMAE Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC)
    The Graduate Student Advisory Council of the Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering Department is a student organization committed to creating an encouraging and collaborative culture within the MMAE department, by organizing academic and social events to enhance the interaction between faculty members and graduate students.     National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
    Founded in 1975, the National Society of Black Engineers is the world's premier organization supporting black engineers. Its mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. NSBE is now embraced by the nearly 30,000 of active members of all racial backgrounds.
