Financial Assistance


    The Office of Financial Aid is available to assist students with the management of their educational expenses. They can provide assistance with your FAFSA application, federal loans, work programs or with payment plans. Information about scholarships and assistantships can be obtained by contacting individual academic departments.

    Did you know that if you are a graduate of IIT you may be eligible for tuition credits?

    Alumni registering as part-time graduate students receive a one credit hour deduction of the current tuition rate alumni tuition benefit information.

    Half-tuition scholarship:

    Students who graduated from IIT with an undergraduate GPA of 3.5/4.0 or greater are guaranteed a half-tuition scholarship during their first year of full-time graduate studies at IIT (scholarship applied for a maximum of 9 credits total for students applying to programs in the following colleges: Armour College of Engineering, College of Architecture, College of Psychology, and College of Science and Letters.

    Before graduation, the student will receive a letter stating his eligibility. The student then contacts their department and indicates their interest.

    Please contact your department head as soon as you decide to accept the half-tuition scholarship.
