Merit Scholarships
For Part-Time Graduate StudentsYou know IIT for the quality of its academic programs. Now, we have developed a scholarship to acknowledge and reward prior academic achievement. If you are a master's degree-seeking student applying to IIT's Armour College of Engineering, Center for Professional Development, or College of Science & Letters, you may qualify for up to a 50% tuition scholarship.
Who qualifies?
Any new part-time, master's degree-seeking graduate student who:

Is a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident

Obtained their undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

Takes courses at IIT that count toward fulfilling degree requirements
How much are the scholarships worth?
Students with an undergraduate GPA of 3.5+ will be offered a 50% tuition scholarship upon admission and approval by their academic department.
Students with an undergraduate GPA of 3.2-3.49 will be offered a 40% tuition scholarship upon admission and approval by their academic department.
Students who receive this scholarship will continue to receive it until graduation, so long as they maintain a graduate GPA of 3.2 or higher.
This award cannot be used in conjunction with any other IIT funding.
How do I apply?
To be considered for an IIT Merit Scholarship, simply apply for admission and submit the required credentials. No additional steps are required.
