The National Center for Food Safety and Technology (NCFST), with IIT faculty, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) scientists, and food industry scientists, provides a unique training ground for individuals seeking graduate education in food safety and technology and food process engineering. Courses are offered at NCFST with strong support of IIT's Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering.Research Areas:
Admission Requirements:
1. Cumulative undergraduate GPA minimum: 3.0/4.0
2. GRE score minimum:
Master of Science: 1100 (quantitative + verbal), 2.5 (analytical writing)
Professional Master's: 950 (quantitative + verbal), 2.5 (analytical writing)
3. TOEFL minimum (if required): 550/213/80 (paper-based/computer-based/Internet-based test)
