2008 Retirement Plan Maximums

The 403b limits for calendar year 2008 are as follows:

• $15,500 for participants under 50
• $20,500 for participants 50 and older

Already Elected the IRS Maximum?

If you elected the IRS maximum on your last salary reduction agreement, your contribution amount has been adjusted to meet the new 2008 limits. If you think that your account has not been adjusted to the 2008 IRS maximum, please email Eric Kieft at kieft@iit.edu.

Want to Contribute the IRS Maximum?

If you did not elect the IRS maximum on your last salary reduction agreement, you may elect to do so now by completing a salary reduction agreement and faxing to Eric Kieft at 312.567.3450.

Turning 50?

If you have recently turned 50 or will be turning 50 in 2008, you may increase your contribution to $20,500 in 2008. To do so, please complete the salary reduction agreement and fax to Eric Kieft at 312.567.3450.
