Benefiits Lunch N Learn Sessions

You've Got Benefits Questions - We've Got Answers! Join the Department of Human Resources weekly for the new benefits "Lunch N Learn" series.

Benefits can be confusing and lead to a lot of questions. We understand that and want to help you! Beginning Feb 20, HR will be hosting a series of weekly benefits "Lunch N Learns" to discuss your benefits at IIT. Each week different benefits related topic will be covered - all you need to do bring is your lunch and your questions, HR will provide refreshments and answers.

The first benefits Lunch N Learn session will be held on February 20, covering the Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO health care plan. HR will be joined by a Blue Cross/Blue Shield representative to discuss details about the plan and answer your questions. Topics covered will include: difference between in-network and out-of-network coverage, how a deductible applies to you, co-insurance and co-pays, and details about the prescription and vision benefits. Examples of health care situations and costs you might encounter will also be covered.

Sessions will be held in the Alumni Lounge in Hermann Hall from Noon- 1PM on the following dates:

• February 20 - PPO health care plan
• March 5 - Network PPO health care plan
• March 12 - Flexible Spending Account
• March 19 - Delta Dental plan
• March 26 - Salary Continuation Plan POSTPONED
• April 2 - 403(b) Plan

Sessions will be held in the Trustee Dining Room in Hermann Hall from Noon- 1PM on the following dates:

• April 23 - Wellness

At each session, key provisions, costs and examples will be presented for the specific benefit plan. No reservations required.
