Clinical Psychology Program - Ph.D. Rehabilitation Track
If you plan to work with individuals living with medical and other disabling conditions, the Rehabilitation track is for you. It will prepare you to provide clinical services for and to conduct research with individuals who have such conditions. Rehabilitation psychology is a rapidly-growing field that will provide you with many employment opportunities.
As a student in this track, you will fulfill the usual requirements for the Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and take courses in Rehabilitation Psychology as the Clinical Ph.D. elective requirements, such as Psychosocial Bases of Disability; Medical Aspects of Disability; Neuropsychological Assessment; Adult Career Development and Vocational Behavior; Professional and Ethical Issues of Rehabilitation Psychology. Your practicum, and internship activities will also be oriented toward Rehabilitation Psychology. Your research will be conducted under the mentorship of the Rehabilitation Faculty.
