Chicago Transit Authority Ventra UPasses were activated for the spring semester on Monday, January 13, 2014. This applies to all returning students who were registered full time as of Thursday, January 10, 2014. But, for students who registered after this date, it is likely that you have a UPass that has not been activated.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you registered after January 10 and the request to update your status will be submitted to CTA as soon as possible. Note: If you attempted to use your UPass without adding money to it between December 9, 2013 and the time it activated (either January 13 or later) you may have a negative balance on the card. The Upass will not activate until the balance is cleared.
New full time students can order an UPass in the Office of Student Affairs located in the McCormick Tribune Campus Center, Room 209. Email email@example.com for additional information and if you have questions.
