Parking Improvements: Lot Closures Over Memorial Day Weekend
May 23, 2013Parking lot improvements are scheduled for this weekend on Main Campus. The A6,C1,D1-D2,D3 and D5 lots will be unavailable beginning Friday, May 24 at 6:00 pm and ending Monday, May 27 at 6:00 pm. -
IIT Shuttlebus Detour
April 11, 2013Due to ongoing construction on State Street, the Southbound MTCC stop at 33rd & Wabash will be temporarily relocated to Michigan Avenue at 33rd Street effective Monday, April 15. The bus will then proceed to IIT Tower via Michigan Avenue & 35th Street. A follow up announcement will be issued once the detour is no longer needed. Please direct questions to shuttlebus@iit.edu. -

ACaPS Office Returns to Hermann Hall
March 14, 2013Access, Card, and Parking Services is returning its customer service to the larger space on the second floor of Hermann Hall beginning Friday, March 15. An elevator is available just before the northwest staircase to facilitate accessibility. -
State Street Construction Continues Through March
March 4, 2013Construction at the 32nd & State Street entrance of the IIT A4 visitor lot will continue through the month of March. Visitors and permit holders should continue to access A4 at 31st & Wabash Avenue. A follow up announcement will be issued once construction is completed. -
Hermann Hall Lot Reserved for Spring Career Fair on February 21
February 20, 2013The B5 (Hermann Hall) parking lot will be reserved on Thursday, February 21 from 7:00 am–5:00 pm to facilitate the Spring Career Fair. Commuter student permit holders will have access to lots A4, A3, B2, B3 and C1. View the location of the lots on by clicking on the campus map. Please direct questions to parking@iit.edu. -
32nd Street Visitor Parking Entrance Detour
February 18, 2013The entrance of the A4 parking lot at 32nd & State is closed through March 1, 2013 to facilitate the installation of a solar canopy for electric vehicle charging stations. Visitors and permit holders should enter and proceed to A4 from the A3 parking lot entrance at 31st & Wabash. The south paystation will be accessible during this time. -
Occasional Parker Plan Is Here
January 23, 2013Students, faculty, and staff who typically use alternative transportation, but wish to drive occasionally can sign up for the Occasional Parker Plan. Participants receive 10 visitor passes for $48.00. -

Extended Parking Access After 5 pm
September 24, 2012Main campus parking permit holders have access to all parking lots from 5 pm - 7 am, Monday-Friday, and all day on weekends via HawkCard ID. Parking enforcement hours are Monday-Saturday, 7 am - 7 pm and 24/7 for posted restricted areas.
