Psychology Endowed Professor Ron Landis Named SIOP Fellow, Awarded Best Paper of the Year by Organizational Research Methods
June 1, 2012The Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) has named IIT Nambury S. Raju Chair of Psychology Ron Landis as a fellow, and a paper co-authored by Landis has been named a co-winner of the Best Paper of the Year for the journal Organizational Research Methods. -

This event is free and open to the public. -
A new study by IIT Psychology Professor and Director of I/O Psychology Training Program Roya Ayman and Northeastern’s Saba Ayman-Nolley, published in the book “Implicit Leadership Theories: Essays And Explorations,” explores gender stereotypes and perceptions of potential leadership and is discussed in Chief Learning Officer magazine.

IIT Magazine Explores Crab Lab in Online Exclusive: “There Must Be Something in the Water”
April 4, 2012This winter, IIT’s Life Sciences Building became home to a menagerie of salt-water denizens of the deep: more than 60 green crabs and a male giant Pacific octopus, Enteroctopus dofleini. The sea-nario constitutes the CRAB Lab (Creative Research in Animal Behavior) and comprises four different experiments involving students and faculty from the university’s College of Science and Letters, College of Psychology, and Armour College of Engineering. -
