Sodexo Servathon a Success
July 24, 2012The Sodexo Servathon is a global effort, as is Sodexo's worldwide STOP Hunger program. This year 40,000 employees in 35 countries around the world joined in Servathon, participating in efforts that included donating and serving meals; sharing Sodexo expertise by providing nutrition, hygiene, food waste, and food safety education; collecting and donating non-perishable food; and fundraising through efforts such as product promotions, coin collections, and golf tournaments. -

2012 Student Gift Goals Achieved
May 18, 2012Thanks to the more than 680 students who supported the 2012 Student Gift, some new water fountains will be installed on Main Campus. -
Golf Outing to Raise Funds for IIT Housing Scholarships
May 9, 2012IIT will host a "Day of Play" golf outing to raise funds to support scholarships for on-campus housing to underprivileged students from the Chicago Public Schools. This year 151 such students are enrolled at IIT. -
Spaghetti Lunch to Support IPRO 372 – April 14
April 6, 2012Come enjoy all the delicious spaghetti you can eat for just $5 and help support IPRO 372's current project from 11 am - 3 pm on April 14 at the Skull House. All profits will be used this summer for the construction of a trade school in Mexico. Not only will you walk away with a belly full of pasta but with the knowledge that you've helped make a difference. -
Support Nature Studio – College of Architecture’s First Graduate Design/Build
April 2, 2012Just a mile and a half south of IIT's Main Campus is an urban nature preserve that has provided a safe and inspiring learning environment for children in need for 15 years. Eden Place Nature Center is located in Fuller Park, one of Chicago’s most neglected neighborhoods, adjacent to an industrial train yard and on the site of what once was an illegal dump afflicted with lead contamination. -
Help The Tornado Victims of Harrisburg, Illinois
March 20, 2012On February 29 a powerful F4 tornado, 200 yards wide and packing 170 mph winds devastated the small city of Harrisburg, Illinois located in downstate Illinois killing seven people. FEMA denied disaster funding to the city stating Harrisburg should receive assistance from local government and community groups to rebuild. -

March 13, 2012In the first week of March, more than 11 states were hit hard by an early round of spring tornadoes. The storms came earlier than usual this spring and in the middle of the night, leaving many families unprepared for the devastation. Thousands of people were affected, hundreds of homes wiped away and 40 people lost their lives. -
Raise Your Voice A Capella Benefit Concert for IPRO 372: Global Construct Collaborative
March 5, 2012IIT A Capella and IPRO 372: Global Construct Collaborative will hold a benefit concert at 9 pm on Thursday March 8 in the IIT Tower auditorium. The event will feature the Techtonics, the Crown Jules, and the X-Chromotones, as well several individual performers. -
ASB Bowling Tournament Fundraiser
January 31, 2012Alternative Spring Break (ASB) will be hosting a bowling tournament from 3 - 7 pm on Saturday, February 4 in The Bog. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the trip to Valdosta, Georgia to work with Habitat for Humanity.
