April 5, 2013They’re hot off the press! A limited number of copies of the winter 2013 edition of IIT Magazine are available in various Main Campus locations. This issue features photos of Chicago—“Their Kind of Town”—taken by IIT students and articles on citizen-architect Katherine Darnstadt (ARCH ’05), Senator Kwame Raoul (LAW ’93) and record-holding distance-swimmer Ted Erikson (CHE ’52, M.S. June 1, 2012Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's S. R. Crown Hall is a Chicago Landmark, a National Historic Landmark, and on the National Register of Historic Places. The iconic building is also home to IIT College of Architecture, a classroom for studio projects, and a showcase for student exhibits at the annual spring Open House, which draws hundreds of visitors.
