IIT Screening of Alan Turing Drama-Documentary “Codebreaker”
April 11, 2013Join the Lewis Department of Humanities for a special screening of the new Alan Turing drama-documentary, Codebreaker, which will be shown at 8 pm on Thursday, April 11 in the MTCC Ballroom. Executive Producer Patrick Sammon will hold a Q&A session following the screening. -

History of Women in Technology Luncheon
March 25, 2013Marie Hicks and Carly Kocurek of IIT’s Department of Humanities will speak on the history of women in computing and gender in video games at a free luncheon to be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 12:45–2:30 pm in the MTCC Ballroom. Students, faculty and staff of all genders are welcome. Meet and mingle with women students, faculty and staff from across the university. The event is sponsored by the Department of Humanities. -
Campus Screening of Award-Winning Transgender Film “Girl Inside” (Updated)
March 12, 2013The award-winning movie Girl Inside is the account of a young adult transitioning from male to female and her "emotional, intellectual, and spiritual journey of self-discovery . . . Sometimes funny, sometimes painful, this sweet coming of age story is both an intimate portrait and a thoughtful exploration of what it means to be a woman."
